Esperanza Rising Literature Unit

Hi Teachers!
I am excited to share this literature unit with you. This unit contains 5 weeks of reading comprehension questions, vocabulary, assessments, character profiles, and most importantly ANSWER KEYS .
In my classroom, I use these literature questions to create opportunities for students to discuss their reading group book and for use in guided reading groups. Students can use dictionary skills to look up new vocabulary words to help them in their readings. Character profiles will help students think about the character, traits, personality, and importance to the story. Finally, there are assessments to monitor comprehension throughout the unit. I hope you find this unit helpful in your classroom too!
