This unit is dedicated to Mexico's women only sport, Escaramuza. Inside you will learn all about what this sport is about, what it means to Mexico and to the Mexican American's who compete in this sport. You will learn about the outfits, the history of the Adelitas who fought in the Mexican Revolution, a glossary of terms, discussion topics with custom lined paper, book recommendations, documentary recommendations, and an art printable to make this all come to life!

This could be used in so many ways! Including it with your lesson on the history of the Mexican Revolution, Hispanic Heritage Month, a country study, or eve Women's History month.
