Description

Have you ever wanted to play an Escape Room game in your classroom? I don’t mean locking up your kids there, but rather give them a chance to experience some of the same emotions while solving a meaningful task! This pack/set of 7 brain teasers is a fairy tale about Native American tribes aimed to develop attentiveness, logic, and imagination.

This Escape Room takes up to 1 hour with a class of 4-7 graders. It can potentially be used for other grade levels by adjusting the level's difficulty.

This pack includes the following:

1. A storyline

2. An opening video (2 minutes)

3. A presentation with 65 color printables and a PDF file (see preview)

4. A black and white copy of 3 (see preview)

5. A google form to check the answers

6. A closing video (45 seconds, a happy ending included!)

Students can play this Escape Room in groups. The recommended number of participants is 6 per team. The set includes math, logic, and language arts problems; in a couple of tasks, you just need an eye for detail!

Every part of the story leads to the problem; every problem is asked by a bird from the Magic Forest; the pack is super visual, plus there are 2 videos explaining the storyline.

You can find:

Riddle 1. Lying animals.

Riddle 2. Too many daughters.

Riddle 3. Valley of the Winds.

Riddle 4. Native American drawings.

Riddle 5. Solving an anagram.

Riddle 6. A new approach to reading.

Riddle 7. A rhyme

In addition to using it as a whole-class activity, there a few other ways to use this pack, mainly to differentiate:

1. You can use it as a reward for those who complete another task.

2. As an extracurricular activity.

3. Competitions between individual students or teams (small groups).

4. As a quiz.

5. You can even play it with your colleagues at social gatherings!

I tried and tested it in my classroom. The kids I’ve played it with seemed to really enjoy it, especially the first task with lying animals and the videos.

Good luck with teaching your young learners in all corners of the world!
