Description

If you are looking for an Equations of Circles worksheet that is aimed at fostering independent work, enhancing skills, and enabling self-assessment, check out this Equations of Circles Circuit Training - a worksheet activity designed for just that purpose!

How it works: Students will begin by answering the questions in the first box (Box A). They will look for their answer somewhere else on the worksheet. They will answer the next question that corresponds to where their answer was found. Repeat this process until all 14 questions are answered and they end up back in box A. 

Content Features:

  • Students will rewrite the equation of a circle in standard form by completing the square, most questions will have a = 1, only a couple will have a > 1 
  • Students will identify the center and radius of the circle
