Description

Help your children understand equal groups in math with a mini reader they can make, read and color! They will glue pages to match the math sentences on each page. This activity integrates early literacy, number and foundational multiplication.

Students can practice fine motor skills cutting, pasting and coloring as well as reading the text.

Please note that numbers are used in the math sentences instead of number words.

The text in this reader is as follows:

  1. 1 set of 3 clouds is 3.
  2. 2 sets of 3 clouds makes 6.
  3. 3 sets of 3 clouds makes 9.
  4. 4 sets of 3 clouds makes 12.
  5. 5 sets of 3 clouds makes 15.

The pictures are on a separate worksheet and students can color them, easily cut the rectangle around each picture and paste it into position on the page.

Bonus Digital Text

Included is a bonus digital version of the complete text. Use this on your electronic board or computer as a shared or modelled reading with your students, as you would a big book. Students can slide clouds into position to make equal groups on each page.
