    Description

250+ flexible math tasks to challenge your This mega bundle will include all of these resources + spiraled packets with all 250 Pages spiraled together to create the MOST ORIGINAL ENRICHMENT PACKETS for your confident learners! These can be independent yet work well with pairs.

*Be sure to choose appropriate mental math tasks for ALL of your learners too! This is not just for your high flyers. All learners deserve creative, open-ended rich math tasks. This is an amazing value because while you might print packets for your most confident kids, you will find yourself using some of them to teach lessons and many more as whole class activities.

    This Discounted Mega-Bundle includes:

    • Decimal Enrichment
    • Fraction Enrichment
    • Area Puzzle Enrichment
    • Place Value Enrichment
    • Algebraic Reasoning Enrichment
    • BONUS packets with all topics above spiraled together! (Coming Soon)

    These should be perfect for:

    • VERY CONFIDENT 3rd graders
    • VERY CONFIDENT 4th graders
    • CONFIDENT 5th graders
    • ALL 6th/7th graders
    • ALL 8th or even 9th graders who could use a review of the big ideas in a fun way!

These creative enrichment tasks are mostly based on 4th and 5th grade standards- but with some higher level twists. They can challenge a "high school honors student" too- ask my son. :D)

They forget the why of mathematics when they move heavily into algorithms. Remind them. Provide a mental math approach to fraction and decimal numbers to build computational number sense. And have fun!!

Print out enrichment/challenge packets as needed, and use individual pages at the teacher table or in math centers. These are designed to scaffold actual learning, not just show off what is already known. They can be done independently or small groups, in short sporadic bursts as time permits. (This is EASEL compatible if you like, with horizontal pages to work better on screen,)

Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions referring to the same whole, including cases of unlike denominators, e.g., by using visual fraction models or equations to represent the problem. Use benchmark fractions and number sense of fractions to estimate mentally and assess the reasonableness of answers. For example, recognize an incorrect result 2/5 + 1/2 = 3/7, by observing that 3/7 < 1/2.
Apply and extend previous understandings of multiplication to multiply a fraction or whole number by a fraction.
Comparing the size of a product to the size of one factor on the basis of the size of the other factor, without performing the indicated multiplication.
Solve real world problems involving division of unit fractions by non-zero whole numbers and division of whole numbers by unit fractions, e.g., by using visual fraction models and equations to represent the problem. For example, how much chocolate will each person get if 3 people share 1/2 lb of chocolate equally? How many 1/3-cup servings are in 2 cups of raisins?
Express a fraction with denominator 10 as an equivalent fraction with denominator 100, and use this technique to add two fractions with respective denominators 10 and 100. For example, express 3/10 as 30/100, and add 3/10 + 4/100 = 34/100.
