Engaging Photo Prompt Bundle ~ Numeracy ~ Early Math Concepts ~ Class Discussion

150 engaging photos covering 5 different topics! Use in math AND other subjects.

All images have been carefully chosen to allow for open ended learning with a focus on early numeracy concepts. Each image will have a number of pathways for discussion, such as counting and shape, or size and pattern.

Where you take the discussion and learning very much depends on your students and the topic you are focusing on. My hope is that you are able to use this resource again and again! 

Here are a few ways they can be used: 

1 photo a day ~ start or end each lesson by displaying one photo to the class. Give students some prompt questions and see where the discussion goes from there. 

Fly through focus ~ if you are focusing on a concept such as counting, go through multiple slides in a set and just have students count the objects.  

Print and play ~ print the photos out (whatever size you like) and use them for relating to topics. This is especially good for sorting tasks. They can also then be used with concrete materials to encourage hands on learning.
