What educators are saying

I wanted some extra hands on activities to do with my kids during science. They loved these activities! Definitely recommend.

Description

These investigations include 5 hands-on activities for your students to explore light, heat, sound, electrical, and magnetic energy. Included in this product are:

*Teacher directions sheets for each station (includes the materials needed and directions for set up)

*Student directions table tents for each station

*Investigation booklet for each student (students will record their observations and/or answer questions after each investigation)

The five different investigations include:

*Light Energy- Students will use flashlights to observe which items reflect the light, absorb light, and allow light to pass through

*Sound Energy- Students will observe what happens to rice (on wax paper) held above a drum being pounded on.

*Heat Energy- Student will observe how the heat from a light bulb makes a pinwheel spin around.

*Electrical Energy- Students will go on a hunt around the classroom looking for items that use electrical energy.

*Magnetic Energy- Students will use magnets to sort items into two categories: items that can be moved with the magnet and items that cannot.

My students LOVE these investigations and I hope yours will also! Please be sure to download the product preview for more views of the contents. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for checking this item out =)
