Description

End of the Year BOOK AWARDS? Yep! You read that right!

Our loved and cherished books deserve awards too!

Your students will absolutely LOVE this End of the Year EVENT and you will LOVE what it does for your classroom library!

So what does the End of the Year Book Award Event look like?

The End of the Year Book Award Events has students nominate different books for different award categories, such as "A Real Page Turner Award" or the "Made My Hair Stand on End Award."

We have provided 40 different awards. Even better, they are genre themed! There are 3 awards for each of the 10 genres included with 9 made for any genre and even a blank award that you can customize for your class!

After you have narrowed it down to two books per award, it's time to vote! You can set up debates, have students write opinion pieces... the possibilities are endless!

Finally, the winning book will receive its very own bookmark and label that will be placed inside the book!

So what does this do for your classroom library????? After the books are placed back on your shelf, you have automatically provided next year's class with book recommendations by the experts! They will be fighting to read your "Award Winning Books!"

Check out our preview and it will take you through the event step by step with pictures from our event!
