Description

This FUN, EASY TO USE breakout activity is perfect to use before any vacation or at the end of the year!

WHAT IS THE BACK STORY FOR THIS ESCAPE ROOM?

Your kids arrive at camp and it doesn't exactly look like it does in the brochure. In fact, it is an awful wreck of a place! Luckily, the greatest counselor in the world is willing to secretly help them escape to the camp across the lake, which is the camp of their dreams! With every challenge they complete, kids will earn the parts to the vehicle that will get them to the other camp, Camp Happy Trails. Then they will follow directions and BUILD it!

WHICH SKILLS ARE PRACTICED?

♦ At-a-glance instructions for easy setup.

♦ Instructional reference bookmarks on solving and creating rebuses, that students can use LONG after they have escaped!

=======WHAT DO I HAVE TO SUPPLY?=======

You will need the following supplies for this activity:
- a color printer
- cardstock (at least 10 pages for a class of 30)
- 5 flexible drinking straws per student
- tape
- scissors
- liquid glue
- envelopes or folders

WHAT MAKES THIS BREAKOUT SPECIAL?

Each of our classroom adventures is unique. We do not use a "formula" to create them. Kids will never get bored, even if they have done our other escape rooms.

The storyline is interactive and immersive. YOUR students are directly involved in the story. This is perfect as an end of the school year activity. It is also awesome for rainy days at camp, or for Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.

Students must work with their group to solve a series of FUN challenges based on close reading, keen observation skills, writing, and following directions.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE TO COMPLETE?

Completing the entire escape room can take anywhere from 50-70 minutes, depending on how quickly the class is able to complete the activities. Students will not have to leave the room. This is NOT a scavenger hunt.

Have fun and be sure to come back for more ESCAPE ROOM challenges!
