Description

I always close out the school year with this fun and easy (NO GRADE) activity! Students write a letter to their future selves. PDF and Google Slides versions available.

In class activity:

I ask them to bring in a self-address envelope, with a forever stamp on it. They place their letter in the envelope when they are finished. They can write as little or as much as they like! This is private; I tell them that I will not read them! I save them and send them the year that they graduate from high school. It is a great, low-key final couple of days. Throw on some quiet music, and catch up on your grading while students write. :)
