Description

Prepare for a smooth end-of-the-year concert with this comprehensive Spring Concert Resource Bundle! Whether you're a seasoned music teacher or new to organizing such events, the logistics can be a LOT to handle. This bundle is designed to streamline your preparation process and ensure a successful concert experience for all involved. When I had to plan my first concert, I made this resource and it has saved me SO MUCH TIME reusing it year after year!!!

All resources are available in both Microsoft Word and Google Doc formats. Additionally, I have included printing instructions for your program template. Simply fill in your own information, make the copies, and you've got everything you need! ***When you download your zip file, don't forget to open the READ-ME instructions before anything else!!!***

Here's what's inside:

1. Program Template:

  • Front-and-back foldable template where you can easily add in your own information. Program order, student names, cover page, and thank-you page. Check out the Preview to see what it looks like pre-printing and check out the printing instructions (only uses 8.5x11" regular printer paper!) in order to print each program correctly. This template offers a polished and visually-appealing layout, and all you have to do is add the information!

2. Letter Home

  • Included is an example letter home (one-pager) to parents/guardians that gives all the information needed including attire, call time, and location. These letters will ensure that families are engaged and informed, increasing attendance and support for your students.

3. Example Student Scripts

  • These scripts are designed to help your students shine on stage! The template simply provides talking points, and all you have to do is replace the information with yours and hand out to the students. For my first concert, I was terrified to speak to the enormous audience. One of my colleagues told me, "Parents don't want to hear you talk, they want to see their kids!" Well, that was a super valuable piece of advice, because I had my students run most of the talking portions of the concert!

If you're tired of the tedious work it takes to put on a concert, don't let the stress overwhelm you and use these tools so you can execute a stellar performance and focus on getting your students ready for their concert!!
