Each 6- to 8-page reader is provided in the following versions:
Full Color Version
This version is designed for reading practice. Pictures directly support the text to aid students with decoding. The focus sight word is in bold text.
B&W: Read, Write, Color
Students interact with the text by tracing the focus sight word within the context of a sentence and coloring the pictures on each page.
B&W: Read and Color
This version is the same as the full color version (no writing/tracing). Perfect to send home for reading practice because it uses minimal ink.
Digital Version
These sight word readers have been prepared for digital use in Easel. You can assign them for students to read on any device. The pen tool can be used to trace the sight words.
The vocabulary cards are useful for pre-teaching specific words from each story that may be unfamiliar to students or are not decodable.
