Are you trying to find a way to keep your student's engaged and learning with all of the holiday excitement? Themed days may be just for you. During Elf Day, you can read your choice of suggested Elf stories and complete the reading comprehension activities included. There is a letter to send home, a special snack, a door banner and photo booth ideas. You could run centers for the day or complete the activities together. The choices are endless. There are two elf craft activities, writing activities, an original poem with extensions, math games, math task cards, phonics scoot and or task cards. Students will work on digraphs, blends, cvce words, real vs. nonsense, adding and subtracting to 10, doubles, narrative and explanatory writing.
