This resource is an excellent stepping-stone to helping students understand the elements of poetry in literature. These activities will help them confidently identify imagery and other poetic devices. Confidence is the first step to analysis, and this will prepare them to tackle any poem. Figurative language and poetic elements are everywhere, so this game really hones student awareness.
