Description

Quickly increase fluency in note reading with these Elementary Orchestra Speed Drills!

  • Five note reading speed drills for beginning orchestra students in treble, alto, and bass clef.
  • Students race to identify notes the fastest.
  • Each drill is grouped by string assessed (D, A, G, C, & E).
  • Takes 7-10 minutes to complete all in one day or complete one 2 minute line per class.

Flexible for any method book and string introduction sequence!

  • A-string drills include a high bass version AND a low bass version.
  • C-string drills include a high violin version for students who have already learned the E-string AND a low version for students who have not.
  • E-string drills include a low viola/cello version for students who have already learned the C-string AND a high version for students who have not.
