Elementary Library Media Center Scope and Sequence / Planning Document

A very easy way to organize what you're teaching by week and quarter. Each content area is color coded so you can easily see what type of content you're teaching and to which grades.

I have an A/B schedule, but you CAN use this for a regular weekly schedule too!

If you need to use it as weekly,  just type in other activities in the black spaces and change the background color for those fields. OR simply add a story time week for lower grades and a story / first chapter read-aloud for upper grades.

My students checkout every week, but I only teach them every other week (alternating weeks upper/lower grades).  I don’t have a clerk. This is what works best for me so I can complete all my library program tasks and other duties easier.
