El Mes de la Herencia Hispana

Lesson intended for Spanish Native Speakers. 20 slide powerpoint that briefly cover the meaning of Hispanic Heritage Month. Provides the option of two projects, with the purpose of having students conduct a research on a Hispanic/Latino personality or interview an important Hispanic/Latino member of their school community. These assignments allow students to work in small groups and make connections beyond the classroom, learning hands on about the important contributions of the Hispanic/Latino community in the United States. Lesson lasts approx. 2 weeks if students are given class time to work on project.
