Description
An editorial is an article that states a person’s opinion on a particular issue. Basically, it is a persuasive essay on a researchable topic that has more than one view point.
Providing written answers to the questions in this two pager will help students focus on the important elements of editorial writing. This can be used as a whole class activity or for individuals to complete. Because all of the directions are written down, this would also make an excellent homework, writing center, or take it to your seat folder activity!
After completing the sheet, students can either use responses to write a simple editorial paragraph or continue their research to create a full essay.
