Description

Make assessing fifth grade literature and literary nonfiction reading responses a breeze with these editable and digital reading response rubrics. There are 10 different rubrics to assess students' comprehension, analysis, opinion writing, expository writing, narrative writing, and grammar skills.

Simply choose which literature or literary nonfiction concept or component you want students to write about, decide on the type of writing task you want them to write, print the appropriate rubric OR assign in your digital classroom, and you're good to go.

Each rubric has 2-3 columns to assess any reading responses. There is a column for the reading standards, a column for the writing standards, and a column for the grammar standards. These rubrics are 100% editable and digital so you can adjust as needed.
