I created these slides to use with my 10/20 model for literacy centers. Click below to grab this guide. These can be used during virtual and/or in-person learning.
How I use it:
- I use these during my literacy centers every day. I delete the slides I don't need
- For virtual learning, share your screen and display it as they work in their literacy centers.
- For in-person learning, display it on your board, a chime will go off when the timer is done.
- Use the Materials slide to copy and paste the required materials for your lesson into your slides.
- Use the Voice Level slide to copy and paste which voice level meter you want, and move the arrow to the correct color.
- Use the Center slide to copy and paste what centers you want your student to do.
- Use the blank desk to place your own materials over it and add worksheets on top from the snippet tool or a screenshot.
What is included:
- Powerpoint slides, google slides not included.
- Editable version slides allow you to type your text in.
- 3 different templates with 2/3/4 options on the side.
- 3 different templates for literacy groups of 3/4/5
- 2 different templates, one with a calendar and one without.
- Pre-made templates using the font: AGIMEXTRA
- Three timers: 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. These timers start automatically when you use present mode and make a chime when it is over.
- 90 slides total.
- Moveable materials, voice levels, calendar, and center clipart is included so that you can copy and paste this clipart into your slides.
The clipart and some headers are NOT editable, but I have included blank slides and the name of the font I use so they can match.
The timer is inserted as a video file. This may not work for older Powerpoint versions specifically thoseolder than 2013. Here is a message from Microsoft, "We are aware of the issue in PowerPoint 2010 and are investigating what we can do, but practically speaking, the most effective method of resolving this issue quickly is moving to a newer version of Office. You can also use PowerPoint for the web, which is free and can be used with a Microsoft account (Hotmail, outlook.com, live.com). PowerPoint for the web allows for the insertion and playing of YouTube videos.”
