Information Regarding Editable PowerPoint:

When the PowerPoint initially opens, there will be a button at the top of the screen saying, "Enable Editing." Click this button so you will be able to make changes to the file.

To fill in the editable fields in these lesson plans, simply select Type Here and then type. If you prefer not to start by selecting Type Here, you can also just start typing at the beginning of the field and then delete Type Here from the end of the field.

Each editable field features rich text, so you can change the font, color, or text size within any editable field.

These fields are set up with auto-fit. If you fill the field and keep typing, the font size will automatically decrease to keep the text within the borders.

Once you have selected a template, it may be handy to save it under a new file name, delete all the other pages, and save once again. This will allow you to pull up a file with just the page(s) you prefer.

Information Regarding Parent Handouts for Reading Levels A - L

This packet also includes a separate BONUS Parent Handout for each Guided Reading Level from A - L. Perfect to share at Meet the Teacher Night, Back to School Night or Parent Teacher Conferences.

I find that sending a handout home in my Guided Reading bags each time a child transitions to a new reading level helps parents more effectively support their child's learning.
