Editable Class Word Search Puzzle Templates- printable & digital

Updated 7/21/2020: This editable set of word search puzzle templates is perfect for back-to-school! Students will work to find their classmates' names within the puzzle. It's a great way for students to get to know one another and to recognize their classmates' names. Super simple but very fun. Students especially love finding their own name within the puzzle! The resource is includes both a printable and digital file for Google Slides.

You'll add your students' names in the spaces at the bottom of the puzzle. Then, add their names to the puzzle box, one letter at a time. You can type them vertically, horizontally, diagonally, backward and forward. Design it based on the skill level of your students. For my 2nd graders, I stick with horizontal and vertical names going forward at the beginning of the year. Please note that the puzzles do not automatically fill for you. You need to fit your students’ names into the puzzle. Directions are included for both the PowerPoint and Google templates.

There are 6 different designs for you to choose from- a 2nd grade puzzle, a 3rd grade puzzle, and four generic designs for any grade. The puzzle templates are included in both colored artwork and black line artwork. All templates are also included in digital format.

Usage ideas: morning work, homework, early finisher activity, work work center, indoor recess activity
