Editable Behavior Charts & Progress Tracking

My Why:

Building a trusting, nurturing relationship with some students can be difficult, but it's our goal as teachers try to build these relationships with our students. Understanding a child and the need for setting attainable and meaningful goals is key, especially for students that have a difficult time managing their own behaviors. This product will allow you to monitor the child and set goals that will allow them to grow!

The key to success is creating meaningful goals and setting them with the child, so they can take responsibility and ownership of their choices. It is best to keep up with the chart daily for consistency. Take time to reflect on the chart with the child and update goals when you notice that they are being successful by reviewing old charts and discussing the positive change. You can customize their chart by adding their name at the top or writing a positive message to remind them how great they are!

This pack includes editable, goal focused behavior charts to help reinforce better choices in the classroom. Charts can be reduced on the copier to fit a mini clipboard or left as-is and attached to a clipboard for tracking purposes. I have personally used all of these charts and have had great success with each!

Progress tracking charts to help maintain progress! Students can take ownership of their choices and fill out a daily tracking chart to see their growth towards their goals over a week or a month.

Tips:

*Create the chart with the child, so they have a better understanding of their goals.

*Have the child select a fun font they want and customize the top part of their chart & the subject area names.

*Set time to reflect on the child's day throughout the school day, so they understand why they earned certain smileys.
