Smart Boards, Interactive Whiteboards, and Computers

Your students will love these fun, interactive attendance activities! The seasonal and holiday themes are sure to get them excited each morning. You will easily be able to see who is absent each day as the characters remaining on the screen belong to absents students. Please download the preview to view all files to date that are included.

To use the attendance activities, simply type in your students' names, then start the Slideshow. When using on Smartboards, students will come up to the board and click their names. Their seasonal characters will animate! On computers, students will use a mouse to click their names. Complete directions are included for each activity. To see if these will work with your setup, Please download the Camping Attendance Freebie for use with PowerPoint. If you have Smart Notebook Software on your computer, you will need to disable Smart Ink.

Each attendance file has approx. 28 characters for 28 students. If you have more students, copy and paste characters to accommodate the size of your class(up to 32 students.) For larger classes, you will need to adjust the size of the characters so that they fit on the page. Attendance files with sound will require additional steps. Complete instructions are included.

If using this on a SmartBoard, you may need to adjust the calibration detail so that it has 20 points. This will ensure that when students click their characters, the characters will animate. Refer to your SMART Board settings.

NOTE: If you have more than 35 students, you can try to use these files, but the characters will need to be quite small. Download the Camping Attendance Freebie to give it a try.

*SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:*

PowerPoint 2010 or higher. This was made using PowerPoint 2016.

Some interactive whiteboard software is not compatible with recent versions of PowerPoint animations. You may be able to open the file, but the animations will not work on the board. Please download the Camping Attendance Freebie PowerPoint presentation to see if it works on your setup before purchasing other Attendance PowerPoint presentations from my store.

Helpful Notes:

Note: If you use Smart Notebook Software on your computer, disable Smart Ink to use this file.

Note: Make sure that your smart board is calibrated and aligned to it’s finest point.

Note: I have not tested this on a PC tablet yet. If you do, let me know how it goes and I will update the description
