What educators are saying

This was the best download! The links to videos that went along with each topic were excellent. My students loved reading, watching, coloring, cutting, and pasting each topic. I will use this every year that is for sure!
My students love using their interactive notebooks instead of paper and pencil tasks. These are great to learn about economics-and using their notebooks-is so much more fun for them! Thank you!

Description

Economics Interactive Notebook for 2nd Grade Geography

This is a complete interactive notebook unit with assessments for 2nd Grade Economics. Some of the topics are goods & services, types of economics resources, trade, and costs & benefits. This 44 page unit includes activities, vocabulary, and assessments. These activities can either be used with a textbook or used as a teacher-led unit. Some activities also include links to related outside sources that teachers could use.

Activities include an essential question, vocabulary, short response, graphic organizers, and tables.

The standards covered in this unit are:

  • Students will recognize that people make choices because of limited resources.
  • Students will recognize that people supply goods and services based on consumer demands.

Four summative assessments are also included: identifying types of resources, vocabulary, and short response.

A complete answer key is included, including photos of each completed page.

This unit was designed with 2nd graders in mind.

  • The activities can either be used as whole-page printables or cut and glued into a notebook.
  • As many primary teachers use composition books, the activities were designed to fit their smaller pages.
  • The shapes to cut are simple rectangles - and students just glue them on the page.
  • The summative assessment was broken into smaller chunks in order to accommodate shorter attention spans.
