Easy, No-Fold "Name Art Mandala" Art Project
- Zip
Description
I have always loved making name art mandalas with my students - they're an easy yet beautiful project. Whenever I hang them in the hallway they are sure to inspire awe, as they look MUCH more complicated to create than they really are!
The traditional way of constructing mandalas often involves making several folds in the paper in order to help create symmetry. This is how I learned how to make them, and it is a tried-and-true method. However, there are times when you might want to get RID of those folds! Let's say you want your mandalas displayed in an art show. Or maybe you want to make your mandalas with a heavier type of paper so that you can watercolor or paint your final design.
That's where my easy, no-fold "Name Art Mandala" art project comes in!
