Tell your students they will be making brownies! Then give them a paper of letter Es to color brown! Once you've played the joke on them, they can color and cut out the brown es to play the joke on someone else! (Would you like a brownie? Then they give them one of the brown Es they made.) Fun, easy, harmless joke!
