Eastern Woodlands Native Americans - Powhatan Tribe

This is a week long unit on the Powhatan Tribe. It covers the geography of the eastern woodland region and the various aspects of the Powhatan tribe. 

In this pack there is a nonfiction passage about the geography of the eastern woodland region, as well as a passage about about the Powhatan's homes, travel, and occupations. I also included a bonus nonfiction passage about Pocahontas! There is a graphic organizer for students to use with the passages and questions. I also included a sort for students to show what they know.
