Easter Kindergarten Write A Story Picture Prompt with Word Banks NO PREP
- PDF
Description
This set has 15 Easter themed writing pages for developing vocabulary and writing skills with the recommended 7/8" writing lines for Kindergarten.
This set includes:
* 5 pages that depict an Easter scene with a word bank on the writing page that will help your students in creating a story.
* 5 pages are without a word bank but still contain an Easter scene. You can use the separate rebus word bank that is included to add to your writer’s notebooks, post it in your writing center or display it on your Smartboard. Keep it posted all month and refer to the word bank often to discuss seasonal vocabulary and help your students broaden their knowledge base of vocabulary.
Vocabulary growth is directly related to a child's academic success.
* 5 themed lined pages with a place for your students to draw their own Easter scene for open writing opportunities.
Every page includes a "check your work" prompt at the end of the page.
I’m all about quality over quantity. You won’t find 15 pages of busy work in my sets. My years of working with students who are lagging behind in their reading skills have shown me over and over that they do not have the luxury of time to mess with busy work. All my sets are aligned with the Science of Reading. Any work assigned to them must have a direct impact on what skills they are missing to be successful readers. I am a firm believer in targeted intervention with a fun theme. That’s why my store is full of leveled phonics and writing activities to fill those missing skills in my student’s knowledge base. Feel free to check out my experience in my profile page.

Google Slides are great for introducing a new skill during Circle Time, Morning Warm Ups and Morning Meetings not to mention assigning them individually to your students for differentiated instruction.
