Easter - Eggcellent Easter Game Pack - Math & Literacy

Includes 6 Easter (bunnies & eggs) themed math & literacy games perfect for RTI instruction, small groups, whole groups, early finishers or center activites! My kiddos always love these games!

LITERACY GAMES:

Eggcellent Easter / Eggcellent Words - Help the bunny find his eggs! Choose a card from the pile. If you can read it correctly, roll the die and move forward that many spaces. If you cannot, stay on your space. The first person to reach the eggs wins! **Includes an alternate gameboard (Eggcellent Words), recording sheet, Dolch Lists 1-4, color and number words, and an editable page. Add your own words, numbers, addition or subtraction problems, or whatever you choose!

Eggcellent CVC Words - To play, place the cards upside down or inside a cup. I like to use a frosting container. The first player chooses a card and reads the word. If he/she reads the word correctly, he/she may keep the card. If not, he/she places the card back inside the cup and passes the cup to the next person. Play continues until you say stop. Players count their cards, and the person with the most cards wins. For added fun, use the Somebunny Loves Me, Eggcellent, and Cracked Egg cards! **Includes an editable page. Add your own words, numbers, addition or subtraction problems, or whatever you choose!

I Have Who Has CVCe Words - Students will "stretch out" and read the CVCe words on their cards. This game is circular, so you may start and stop wherever you like!

MATH GAMES:

Fill Your Basket with Eggs (ten frames, adding, subtracting) - Roll the number and operation die. If you roll a +, add that many “eggs” (foam eggs, egg erasers, linking cubes, etc.) to your basket. If you roll a -, take that many “eggs” away from your basket. The first person to fill their basket with eggs wins! **Includes a spinner to use in place of an operation die.

Eggcellent Easter Bump / Eggcellent Bump (adding) - Roll 2 dice, add them together and place your cube on that sum. If another player's cube is on that number, you can BUMP it off. If your own cube is on that number you can attach your two cubes together and “freeze” that spot/number. It now counts as yours! Continue play until all the numbers have been “frozen.” Count the number of eggs each player has frozen. The player with the most eggs wins! **Includes an alternate gameboard (Eggcellent Bump).

Somebunny Loves Money - Randomly place all of the bunny coin cards inside a pocket chart and hide the "You Win!" card behind one card. To play, choose a bunny and identify the coin. If you can identify it correctly, look behind the bunny to find the "You Win!" card. Write down the value of the coins that you look behind inside a bunny. The first person to find the "You Win! card wins! **Includes a recording sheet!
