Easter Egg Patterns {Quarter Rest}

Looking for a fun, engaging way to practice rhythmic concepts with your students (especially in Spring/ around Easter)? This set includes:

*A slideshow for rest or "ta rest" (including quarter notes, eighth notes, and quarter rest.) You can view the PDF like a slideshow by going to "view," then "full screen." The slideshow comes with a title page with 12 hatching chicks. Either throw a squishy or koosh ball at your SMART board, or have students tap the egg of their choice, and read that pattern! Each egg will bring up a different slide (and the chick will hatch when the egg is chosen!)
*A reading assessment with directions: This can be done in learning centers. Students read five patterns individually to the teacher; a rubric is included!
