What educators are saying

This resource was great for the students in the Resource Classroom. I love how easy it is to differentiate! Great resource. I will continue to use this resource yearly!
Love using these for small group reading right before break. My students loved reading the story and completing the color the sight word activity. Thank you!

Description

Reinforce sight words, color words, and making a connection with this fun and engaging emergent reader! My "Easter Egg Hunt" mini book practices the sight words some, find, look, where, there, are, can, more. The story features semi predictable text and follows two children on an outdoor Easter egg hunt. In response, students will write a sentence telling where they would look for eggs and then draw a matching picture. Students will also read sentences about Easter eggs and draw eggs to match the color words in each sentence. Last, students will follow a color by sight word code to color Easter eggs.

*As a bonus, a 2nd version of the book has no eggs in the pictures except for in the Easter baskets. Students must draw eggs to match the text.

Follow my TpT store for updates as additional Easter/spring themed emergent readers and a growing bundle are in the works!
