Description

This is a passage about the origin of the tradition of dyeing and hunting eggs at Easter. We usually continue this tradition, however, who really knows why we do it? Students will learn about the history and then have the opportunity to conduct 2 eggs-periments. One experiment is a little less involved than the other, considering time or student skill constraints. Included with the passage is a set of text-dependent questions where students can practice finding the answers and underlining them in the text. There is also an answer key. A fun way to celebrate Easter while still having an educational objective!
