Description
This is a graphic organizer that allows students to visually see how each of the seasons take place during a specific time in the Earth's revolution.
Students need to color in the Earth at both equinoxes and solstices. Where students color indicates the locations on Earth receiving direct or indirect sunlight.
Using these diagrams, students should be able to support an explanation as to why the seasons occur.

Seasons diagram for the Southern Hemisphere
Seasons diagram for the Northern Hemisphere
Earth Diagram that includes labeling both hemispheres, tilt of the axis,and equator. It also has students fill in the definitions for equinox and solstice, and how long it takes for the Earth to make a complete rotation and evolution.
