This resource includes reading passages that can be read to a student with Microsoft’s Immersive Reader. Immersive-Reader compatible passages are read-only word documents accessed in a web browser. Internet access required. Students are provided links to the Immersive Reader compatible passages in the printable and digital versions of each activity.

Immersive Reader can:

• Help pronounce individual words in a passage as a student reads

If you plan to purchase more than half of the reading passages from this resource, it is more economical to purchase the entire unit of passages rather than passages individually.

Differentiation

A colored shape code is denoted to help you differentiate concepts:

• Reading passages with a green circle cover basic ideas and understandings.

• Reading passages with a blue square cover intermediate ideas and understandings.

• Reading passages with a black diamond cover advanced ideas and understandings.
