Worksheets include:

Earth Day Equations Equivalency -- There are TWO differentiated sheets. Students add up 2 numbers and then cut and paste equivalent subtraction equations to their matching number sentence. For your more advanced students, they will add 3 numbers and then match alternate 3 number adding questions to their equivalent question.

Earth Day Measurement -- Students cut out the planet earth strip and use it to measure various Earth Day pictures. The teacher may also place the pictures around the classroom or school !

Earth Day Friends of Ten Students cut out the math sentence that matches the question represented in the ten frame! Students practice using ten frames as anchors when adding!

Missing Numbers Your students can review filling in missing numbers using their knowledge of place value! Look at the hundreds chart and decide what digit should be in the tens and ones place to determine the missing number under each Earth Day symbol! More advanced students will look at only portions of the hundreds chart.

Earth Day Symmetry Students will use the grid provided to attempt to draw the missing half of four different Earth Day images.

Earth Day Shopping The resource includes two worksheets with American money, and two with Canadian money. Students cut and paste coins to build various amounts to 40 cents, or to build to a certain number with a specific number of coins for those who are ready.

Earth Day Graphing Students cut out four paper Earth Day designs and place them in a paper bag. Pulling out one at a time, students will tally which design they pulled out. After this activity is complete, students are challenged to transfer their information to a bar graph. There is a differentiated activity asking students specific questions to reflect on their work as well.

Express the length of an object as a whole number of length units, by laying multiple copies of a shorter object (the length unit) end to end; understand that the length measurement of an object is the number of same-size length units that span it with no gaps or overlaps.
Add within 100, including adding a two-digit number and a one-digit number, and adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used. Understand that in adding two-digit numbers, one adds tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose a ten.
