Earning, Spending, Saving, Income, Charity - GARAGE SALE - English and Spanish

This is a great project to help students learn the concepts of earning, spending, saving money, and charity in a role play. English, and Spanish!! - This Math and SS activity helps students learn to identify ways people exchange goods and services; and the role of markets in the exchange of goods and services. How to make money, set up a sale, buy, and pay, as well as reinforce communication skills.

Also, this is a great project for the End of the year or the beginning of the year with full instructions for a wonderful role play. First Graders can do it at the EOY and second graders at the BOY.

- Money with 3 different themes: All occasions, Christmas and Easter.

- 90 pictures of items that children love (with prices).

Half of the class sets up the garage sale and the other half buys items. Then they switch roles.

- 2 students sell services: The optometrist performs an eye test and sells glasses, and the Nurse puts on band-aids. (glasses template and eye exam poster are included).

The students who buy the items must record how much money they have, the items they buy, and how much they spend. The students who sell the items must count the money they make.

All materials, instructions, templates, and printables for a class of 24 students are included.

You will be surprised at how the students help each other and try their best!!
