What educators are saying

This was a nice task to use with my students. It provided them with scaffolding throughout the learning process. Thank you.
I’m teaching Spanish-speaking adults English and this is a fabulous resource. The visuals really add a lot to facilitate understanding.

Description

These ESL grammar activities give your beginner level English Language Learners or Newcomer ELLs multiple opportunities to learn and retain the English Verb To Be in conjunction with contractions. Students use the study guides with picture support as they work through the material.

Couple this with my other ESL Grammar Units and your students will have a solid foundation in the fundamental grammar elements of English.

As an ESL teacher of older students (MS & HS), I was disappointed with material available for older learners, so I decided to create my own. There is nothing more embarrassing for a teen to be seen working on material depicting little kids and baby animals. The graphics in my units encompass multicultural Older Elementary, MS, HS, and Adults in various settings.

The units are designed to provide scaffolded support as students work with the material. There are multiple opportunities for optimal retention.

Each new skill is introduced with a student study guide/chart. My students keep these charts handy and use them as reference tools as they work through the material.

Each new skill also comes with plenty of activities. These activities allow students to apply the new skill in multiple contexts.
