What educators are saying

This is such a great material that considers the varying needs of ELLs that could be in one classroom. I love that there are scaffolded options and that there is audio support for students who need it. What a great resource!

Description

This resource is loaded with scaffolds that will support language learners, low-level readers, and reluctant writers as they produce narrative writing pieces. Whether or not they are in ESL, this resource is helpful to guide students through brainstorming and organizing in the prewriting and drafting stages of the writing process!

Here, you have just what you need in order to provide scaffolding for ELL students of all levels as they begin the creative writing process. You do not need to use every page and every graphic organizer with every student; choose the supports that are the best fit for your students.

Worried about students successfully completing this independently? The digital version can be entirely self-directed because audio buttons read the directions and guide students to understand what to write on each slide! There are no tricky formatting issues; the only clickable content on each slide is the text box where students will type. If used with voice typing, your students will be able to complete the digital version regardless of reading level!
