What educators are saying

This resource was very helpful for my beginner ENL class which consists of entering and emerging students ranging from 9th - 12th grade.
This resource has been very helpful with newcomer students. It helped students not only practice grammar but also apply it in context.

Description

Use these English grammar activities with your beginner and intermediate level English Language Learners or Newcomer EFL students. The present progressive or present continuous English grammar tense can be challenging because it has several forms. This complete grammar curriculum provides plenty of practice in using the appositive, negative, and interrogative forms of this English verb tense along with the correct use of the helping verb “to be” and contractions for each form.

This unit also has a review that can be used as a final assessment and a final writing project. Couple this unit with my Verb "To BE" and my Past, Present, & Future Tense Grammar Bundle and set your students up for success!

Each new skill is introduced with a student study guide/chart. My students keep these charts handy and use them as reference tools as they work through the material.

Each new skill also comes with plenty of activities. These activities allow students to apply the new skill in multiple contexts.
