EPCOT's World Showcase Complete Country Study Unit Bundle - 11 week unit

This bundle includes country studies on the 11 countries in the World Showcase at EPCOT at Walt Disney World.

Each country study is designed to last for 4 days, with daily lessons lasting for 20-30 minutes each. Day 5 is a self guided wrap up day with some movie suggestions or additional research time. Weekly lessons follow the same routine with each country.

1. Map coloring page (students will keep one world map throughout the unit to find & color each new country on.) Fact sheet about the country with copy page or guided research page for older students
2. Read 2-3 informational pages about the country and record new learning & wonderings on graphic organizer (3 different pages with differentiated line options to choose from)
3. Art activity - no special supplies required! (A few require staples or tape, a couple have optional materials included in directions as a suggestion, if available)
4. Words to know page (3 differentiated levels,) and word search
5. Self guided wrap up - watch a connected movie, read more about a topic of interest, let students guide you to what they want to do

I created this series of lessons to highlight the iconic & even subtle features in the World Showcase pavilions at EPCOT. I wanted to give my children a background of the 11 countries & their cultures before visiting EPCOT. I have included information that they will be able to make connections with during our visit as they tour the pavilions and experience the attractions.

This study is primarily geared for the lower elementary grades. I plan to make an upper elementary World Showcase study guide in the future!
