These 20 cards all students to read a paragraph and decide the author's purpose. Students will choose from a field of 3 choices on each card. Students can also click the speaker button that will read the paragraph to them. (The other 8 slides will be added on July 13th) Each slide automatically will say, "What is the author's purpose in this text?"
The best part is, they are self-checking. If they get an answer wrong, it will let them know and they can try again.
