Description

This is a 20-slide PowerPoint presentation to offer strategies to compose a story in the narrative mode for grades 3 and up. This would be helpful for high-stakes state writing assessments that evaluate fictional narratives.

The presentation includes:

1) an overview of fictional narrative writing to tell a story;
2) an organization (prewriting) plan for narrative writing;
3) a sample organizer completed with my step-by-step suggestions for a fictional narrative writing prompt; and
4) a sample story written to match the organizer.

Enjoy!
