    This set of ELA reading comprehension test prep passages was created to help your second-grade students practice their test-taking skills. It's also a way for students to show their mastery of the RI (informational) and RL (fiction) standards.

    There are 34 passages, 18 aligned to the nonfiction RI domain and 16 aligned to the fiction RL domain. Each standard comes with two reading test prep passages! Each reading test prep passage comes with a 1 page passage, 8 multiple choice, and 2 short answer questions.


    Each reading assessment comes with:

    • 1 full page passage with related illustration
    • 8 multiple choice questions
      • includes 1 grammar/language question and 1 vocabulary question
    • 2 short answers
    • Answer key in the PDF version
    • There are also 2 options for digital conversions. You can choose to use the passages in Google Forms or Google Slides.
