    Description

If you're looking for a new way to either teach new concepts, review material or have a resource that students can reference any time of the year, flip books are a great tool for an English Language Arts classroom. These hands-on, interactive resources are perfect for upper elementary, middle and high school students.

From start to finish, assembly for the mini flip books takes 20 minutes or less (depending on the number of pages in the book) and assembly instructions are included with your download. Flip books are not only fun to complete, but also a convenient size that can be stored in a desk, binder or interactive notebook for quick reference when writing. The size of a book is approximately 6 3/4" x 4 3/4".

Two flip book options are included with most of the options, so that you can either (1) use the flip book as a reference or (2) use the flip book as a mini-lesson.

Having these two options is also great to differentiate in your classroom! Students who struggle with note-taking or need extra assistance can be given the filled out version, while other students can fill it out on their own. This way every student’s individual needs are met.

How can flip books be incoporated into YOUR classroom?

I, personally, designated one day every other week as a "writing day" where we focus and review one of the flip books. Students had the next two weeks to practice, review and reference their flip book, then another flip book concept will be introduced on our next writing day.
