What educators are saying

This bundle is incredible and will save a lot of time. It can be overwhelming but I am taking little chunks at a time as it is my firs time teaching ELA. Gina is AMAZING!!! She answers your questions and is truly here to help and support. Anything you buy from her is top notch!!!
I love how engaging and rigorous everything you have is. It would come as no surprise that I was just as impressed by this!

    Description

This ELA Bundle for Grade 9 and 10 provides thematic and genre-based units, lessons and notes for a full year of freshman or sophomore English, whether it be on-level, Honors, or Pre-AP. These units can be taught by genre, by unit, or a good mix of both. Nearly all of the materials for this resource have already been created, but I'm still in the process of finishing up the final few - hence the Growing Bundle status.

Currently, this Grade 9 & 10 ELA Unit Bundle includes the following:

    Still to come:

    • Power & Corruption Thematic unit (with The Crucible as anchor text)
    • Short Stories Unit

How to use this ELA Thematic & Genre Based Units Bundle for Grade 9 & 10:

    • These resources can be split into an Honors track, using the thematic units to bring in more rhetorical analysis and Socratic methods, or an on-level track, sticking to genres. Or you can mix and match as you see fit!
    • This bundle has been designed with flexibility in mind, with as many resources as possible being editable, while still allowing for simple prep and protecting design elements and teaching integrity.
