Description
These reading goals are a great formative assessment and visible learning tool. They are a fantastic way to help students take ownership over their own learning and set individual goals to improve their reading.
Print off these goal cards as part of a class writing goals display or stick them on student desks or in their writing books - it is recommended to print them 4 to a page. Tick off as students reach their goal. Once they have 3 or 5 ticks (depending on which template you choose) they can choose a new goal.
Goals appropriate for students from Kindergarten to Year 4 are included across a range of areas:
- Concepts About Print
- Reading Strategies
- Expression and Fluency
- Reading Stamina
- Comprehension
Over 130 reading goals are included so far.
An EDITABLE PowerPoint file is also included where you can edit the wording to create your own goals.
