Included:

  • Directions for how to set up Google sites. Each direction comes with a detailed picture explaining the process. Print a class set and students will be able to create them with little or no help from you.
  • Detailed explanation on how to change and add to your Google site once you have created it. Each again with tips and explanations of the process so a student could figure it out.
  • Also a page that explains how to roll out the use of the e-portfolios, as a tool for reflection including a page with formatted questions to walk students along the reflection process.

Standards: Middle School Technology TEKS

(3) Research and information fluency. The student acquires, analyzes, and manages content from digital resources. The student is expected to:

(A) create a research plan to guide inquiry;

(B) discuss and use various search strategies, including keyword(s) and Boolean operators;

(C) select and evaluate various types of digital resources for accuracy and validity; and (D) process data and communicate results.
