Drama - Unit Plan - First week "Trust and Awareness"

This is an overall unit plan for our first unit which we call "TRUST AND AWARENESS" in drama.

Basically it's a unit of games, body awareness, and non-verbal communication. It builds students' confidence in themselves and others.

I keep one of these at the front of every unit in my binder - it helps as a guide for the unit.

Every unit plan has:

• a statement of prior learning
• rational for the unit (what will students learn?)
• supporting ministry guidelines (of course you can tweak this for your own curriculum)
• day by day instruction ideas (helps give you a general guide of how long everything takes)
• accommodations
• bibliography of resources

This is just an easy-to-edit guide for you to use. GREAT for teacher evaluations as well.
